Nature North is looking for an exceptional leader to drive the next phase of our development and help shape a nature-positive future for the North of England.
Working across business, government, environmental organisations and communities, Nature North is building the partnerships, investment and leadership needed to deliver nature recovery at scale while supporting climate resilience, economic growth and thriving places.
As Director, you will be the public face of Nature North, leading strategic programmes, securing investment, influencing policy and bringing together diverse partners behind a shared vision for the region.
We’re looking for a collaborative and inspirational leader with experience of delivering complex programmes, building influential partnerships and securing funding for ambitious change.
This is a rare opportunity to help position the North of England at the forefront of nature recovery and green economic transformation.

Location: Remote, North of England, with an expectation of travel across and beyond the region as appropriate.
Role: Director, Nature North
Salary: £60,000-£70,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
Contract type: 2 year-fixed term

Recruitment Process
Applications will be shortlisted to progress to interview stage. Interviews will be held on 16th December in York and will include a group assessment, presentation and a panel interview.
