Nature North is a new and exciting collaboration of environmental and conservation organisations from the public, private and voluntary sectors. The collaboration is hosted by Cumbria Wildlife Trust. We’re working together to make sure that the natural environment is at the heart of green growth and climate resilience in Northern England.

Are you passionate about nature and capable of influencing people at all levels to support investment in nature? Are you a skilled communicator looking for a new challenge in an exciting, impactful project? Do you want to use your skills to help us drive the recovery of nature and the economy across the North of England?
Supported by funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund and Esmée Fairbairn Foundation we are recruiting and looking to host a spatial analyst post on behalf of Nature North. This role will pay a key part in supporting the Nature North Partnership to develop Investable Propositions for nature recovery at scale. The person appointed will support the development of an Investment Plan for Nature for the North of England.
Supported by funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund and Esmée Fairbairn Foundation we are recruiting an Advocacy Coordinator secondment. This role will pay a key part in supporting the Nature North Partnership to promote the Investable Propositions for nature recovery at scale. The person appointed will drive and coordinate the Nature North Advocacy Plan.
You will work with Nature North partners to utilise existing connections and identify opportunities to make new connections to gain greater visibility, support and investment in nature recovery. You will seek out and engage with opportunities to increase awareness of Nature North. You will ensure advocacy activity undertaken by Nature North’s members is well-supported to maximise impact and develop a clear, consistent message with key stakeholders.

Do you want to use your skills to help us drive the recovery of nature and the economy across the North of England?

You will work with Nature North partners to utilise existing connections and identify opportunities to make new connections to ensure a range of stakeholders are represented in our programme of activities. You will seek out and engage with opportunities to increase awareness of Nature North acting as a key link between Nature North and existing groups in this sector. You will ensure activity undertaken by Nature North’s members is informed by best practice and is representative of the breadth and diversity of our communities in the North of England You will evaluate and record activity to provide progress reports and give recommendations.
