Nature North is a cross sector, pan regional partnership of businesses and agencies working for nature recovery across the North of England. Our new strategy makes the case for the North to become a nature positive region, explains how investing in nature recovery will bring economic and social benefits for people and places across the North, and sets out clear steps to enable greater investment in nature.
“We need to invest in natural capital now, to reduce risks and reap rewards.” UK State of Natural Capital Report, 2024.
The event will be hosted by Oliver Coppard, Mayor of South Yorkshire. Oliver will be joined by prominent leaders from across sectors, who will showcase the opportunities to restore nature and create climate resilience whilst driving economic growth. Together, we’ll explore how the North can lead the way in delivering benefits for people, nature, and businesses.
