Let’s act now for a brighter, greener future in the North.

Nature North’s ‘Investing in Nature for the North, A Strategic Plan for a Nature Positive Regional Economy’ is a clear strategic plan to scale up green investment across the region. With pioneering finance models and five key investable themes, this is a roadmap for real, lasting change.

About Nature North

Nature North is a cross sector, pan-regional partnership of businesses and agencies working for nature recovery across the North of England. Our new strategy makes the case for the North to become a nature positive region, explains how investing in nature recovery will bring economic and social benefits for people and places across the North, and sets out clear steps to enable greater investment in nature.

The strategic plan launch is being hosted by Oliver Coppard, Mayor of South Yorkshire on Tuesday 25th February. Oliver will be joined by prominent leaders from across sectors, who will showcase the opportunities to restore nature and create climate resilience whilst driving economic growth. Together, we’ll explore how the North can lead the way in delivering benefits for people, nature, and businesses.
